A Bronx man enjoying an afternoon stroll heard gunshots — and looked down in surprise to realize he was shot in the leg in broad daylight.
The man walked up busy Clay Ave. near E. 167th St. in Morrisania Wednesday just before 2:30 p.m. when a gunman reached into his jeans and pulled out a gun, surveillance video shows.
Balancing himself with his left arm, the shooter fired twice into the street.
One of his bullets hit the victim, 30, in the leg. The man’s name was not released by police..
The shooter brandished his gun a second time before he turned around and calmly walked away. The victim was taken to an area hospital. His wound was not deemed life-threatening.
